Jeanne Drevas

It’s been a long life, always with making something out of nothing involved. Something 3-D, although these days way into my 70's, painting, writing and journaling have come to the forefront. Inside here, you can first and foremost see pictures of the house I built way back when. The chapters correspond to the the chapters in my newly as of 2026 published book called Handmaking My House And Building My Life. For those of you who don’t know and also for google search, ha, I am a woman who built her own house, very handmade, architecture indigenous to Rappahannock County, nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. I still am figuring how to make it easy for you to get my book into your clutches.

Older sections include my sculpture work. Sorry, no pots need apply. I was a potter when I started this whole adult venture.

Newer sections will show ruminations about my art work or newer paintings I’m involved with now.

It’s a long life … illustrated.
